How to request deletion

To request deletion of your Voicemarks account and associated personal data, email us from the email address linked to your account.

Send your request to: ops@voicemarks.app

Suggested subject: Voicemarks Account Deletion Request

What to include

• The email address used for your Voicemarks account.
• Your username, if available.
• A short statement confirming that you want your account deleted.

What will be deleted

• Your account profile information, such as name, username, bio and avatar.
• Your private account-related data stored by Voicemarks for app use.
• Your user-created content associated with the account where deletion is technically and legally appropriate, including pins, comments, uploaded photos and audio you submitted through the service.
• Your push notification subscriptions and related app preferences linked to the account.

What may be retained

We may retain limited information when necessary for legitimate business or legal reasons.

• Records needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or compliance purposes.
• Payment or transaction records required for bookkeeping, audits, refunds, chargebacks or regulatory obligations.
• Moderation, abuse-prevention and safety records where retention is necessary to protect the service or other users.
• Technical backup copies for a limited period before they are overwritten or deleted in the normal backup cycle.

Request timing

Deletion requests are usually reviewed within 30 days. We may contact you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.
