Established in 1977 by American missionaries Rafael and Norma Brandemburg, along with a group of Dominican believers, this congregation began in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, focusing on the spiritual and material needs of the Hispanic community. (iembrooklyn.org)

In 1983, Dominican-born Pastor Felipe Arias and his wife Ursula joined the ministry, and by 1984, they began serving as pastors. The church relocated to 93 Norwood Avenue in the Cypress Hills neighborhood, and in 2000, moved to its current location at 734 Jamaica Avenue. (iembrooklyn.org)
