Established in 2009, this congregation began with prayer meetings led by Rev. Fr. John Samuel, the then Vicar of London St. Gregorios Church. Recognizing the growing need, Diocesan Metropolitan H.G. Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios granted permission to conduct Holy Qurbana, appointing Rev. Fr. John Samuel as the first Vicar. The inaugural Holy Qurbana was celebrated on December 19, 2009. In 2012, the congregation was officially registered as a charity with the Charity Commission of England and Wales, reflecting its commitment to serving the community. The congregation actively engages in various spiritual organizations to foster community and spiritual growth. The Sunday School, under the Orthodox Sunday School Association of Europe (OSSAE), focuses on nurturing children in the knowledge and fellowship of Jesus Christ and His Church. The Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM) aims to mold the minds and visions of the youth through worship, study, and service. The Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam (MMVS) is dedicated to the spiritual development of women members, with the motto "Pray, Act and Shine."
